I recently visited Prague while being on scouts camp in the Czech Republic. While strolling through the town we found a ‘Kafka bookshop’. Among all the Kafka books there was, perhaps his most famous book, The Metamorphosis.
I read The Metamorphosis a couple of years ago as an assignment for literature class and really enjoyed it. I never thought about actually buying it even though it is a ‘must have’ book .
But then when I saw it in bookstore above-mentioned I had an urge to buy it. It was the perfect place (since Prague is Kafka’s hometown) and time to buy this book.
The owner of the store looked like a typical bookworm and was a very nice and helpful guy.
